A central location test (CLT) is a research method conducted in a specified location to collect quantitative data by hearing evaluations from respondents about products, their advertisements, etc.
In this method, respondents can touch and use products/samples directly, which enables researchers to obtain more realistic evaluations quantitatively in a relatively short time. CLT is suitable for food/drink tastings and packaging surveys before the sale, such as when researchers want participants to eat, drink, look, and touch directly.
